Taghreed

Taghreed Al-Birawi was shot four times during the Great March of Return protests in Gaza in 2018. Each time, she returned to the demonstration the following week, until she ended up in the hospital. Taghreed recounts an extraordinary courage fell upon her when she approached the fence and saw Israeli soldiers with her own eyes for the first time.
